My QR Codes lists every QR code in your workspace. From here you can find a code, change its content or design, pause it, and download or delete it.

Before you start

  • Admins and Editors can do everything on this page.
  • Viewers can find, download and print QR codes and view their statistics, but can’t change them.
  • Everyone in the workspace sees the same list of QR codes.

Find a QR code

1

Open My QR Codes

Click My QR Codes in the sidebar.
2

Search

Type in the search box above the list. GetQR matches the QR code name and, once you type 3 or more characters, its content, such as a web address.
3

Sort the list

Click the sort menu and choose Last updated, Date created, Total scans, Last scanned or QR type.
The list shows 10 QR codes per page. Use Previous and Next at the bottom to move between pages.

Read a QR card

Each card shows the QR code with its name, content and a few badges. The scan count next to each code opens its statistics. See Analytics overview.

Statuses

Edit a QR code

All editing actions are in the menu on each card. Click the three-dot button on the card to open it. Changes to content, design and access rules apply right away. The next person who scans your printed code sees the new version; you don’t need to reprint.
WiFi QR codes store the network details in the code itself. If you change a WiFi code’s settings, download and print it again: copies you already printed keep the old details.

Pause or activate a QR code

1

Open the card menu

Click the three-dot button on the QR card.
2

Click Pause

Click Pause. For a paused code, the same item says Activate.
3

Confirm

Click Pause in the Pause QR Code window.
While a code is paused, new scans don’t open your content and no scans are recorded. You can activate it again at any time.

Duplicate a QR code

1

Open the card menu

Click the three-dot button on the QR card.
2

Click Duplicate

Click Duplicate.
3

Confirm

Click Duplicate in the Duplicate QR Code window. GetQR creates a new QR code with the same type, content and design.
The copy has its own short link, so it’s a different code from the original when printed.

Delete a QR code

Deleting can’t be undone. All printed and digital copies stop working, and the scan analytics are deleted. People who scan a deleted code see an error page. If you might need the code again, pause it instead.
1

Open the card menu

Click the three-dot button on the QR card.
2

Click Delete

Click Delete.
3

Confirm

Review the warnings in the Delete QR Code window, then click Delete permanently.
Deleting your last QR code doesn’t cancel your subscription. To cancel, see the Help Center.

Common issues

You have the Viewer role. Viewers can download, print and view statistics only. Ask a workspace Admin to change your role. See Roles and permissions.
Check the spelling of the name. To search by content, such as part of a link, type at least 3 characters.
The code has no scans yet. Statistics become available after the first scan. WiFi QR codes don’t record scans.
Password protection isn’t available for WiFi QR codes.
It probably reached its end date or scan limit. Click the status to see why, then use Set Access Rules to change the date or limit.
The workspace subscription has ended. The Admin can renew it with Restore Access on the My QR Codes page. See Account and trial.
GetQR redirects correctly, but your destination isn’t loading normally. Open the destination to check it, and update the content if the link changed. See Troubleshooting.
