Every person in a workspace has one role: Admin, Editor or Viewer. The role decides what they can see and change.

The three roles

The Admin role belongs to the person who created the workspace. It can’t be given to someone else, and the Admin’s role can’t be changed. When you invite people, you choose Editor or Viewer.

Permissions

Members share the workspace: Editors and Viewers see all of its QR codes, templates and statistics. Scheduled reports are personal: each person sees and receives only the reports they created.

Billing and access

Editors and Viewers don’t pay. They use the Admin’s subscription and never see the Admin’s billing. If the Admin’s subscription ends, the whole workspace loses access, including members. For plan and billing questions, see the Help Center.

Choose a role

  • Give Editor to people who create codes, update destinations or manage campaigns.
  • Give Viewer to clients, managers or printers who need to check results or download print files, but shouldn’t change anything.
  • Start with Viewer if you’re unsure. You can change it at any time. See Manage access.

Common issues

Viewers can only view and download. Ask the workspace Admin to change your role to Editor.
Only the Admin can manage members. Ask the Admin to invite, remove or change the role of someone.
No. The Admin is the account owner, and the role can’t be shared or moved to another person.
Your role doesn’t allow this action. Check the table above and ask the Admin to change your role if needed.
