Export your scan data to analyze it in Excel, Google Sheets or a BI tool. The file has one row per scan and follows the filters and date range you set on the Statistics page.

Before you start

  • Every role can export analytics, including Viewer.
  • The export only includes scans that match your current date range and filters.

Export scan data

1

Open Statistics

Click Statistics in the sidebar.
2

Set the date range

Pick a period, such as Last 30 days, Last 12 months or All Time.
3

Add filters (optional)

Click Filter to narrow the data, for example by QR name, Country or Device.
4

Open Export data

Click Export data.
5

Choose the file type

Click Download CSV or Download XLSX. The file is saved as analytics.csv or analytics.xlsx.
On a phone, tap the share icon next to the page title, then Export as CSV or Export as XLSX.

Export data for one QR code

1

Open the QR code's statistics

On My QR Codes, open the code’s menu and click View Statistics. The page opens filtered to that code, for All Time.
2

Export

Click Export data, then Download CSV or Download XLSX.

What’s in the file

Each row is one scan. The file has these columns:

CSV or XLSX?

In CSV files, cells that start with =, +, - or @ get a leading '. This stops spreadsheet apps from running them as formulas.

Use cases

  • Campaign reports. Filter by QR name and date range, export, and build charts in your own tool.
  • Location analysis. Pivot scans by country or city to see where codes perform.
  • Regular reporting. Want the data in your inbox instead? Set up scheduled reports.

Common issues

No scans match your date range and filters. Widen the range, for example to All Time, or click Clear All to remove filters.
The export didn’t complete. Wait a moment and try again, or narrow the date range. For very large exports, choose CSV.
XLSX files hold about 1 million rows at most. Use Download CSV, or export a shorter period.
The QR code has no scans yet, so there is nothing to show or export.
Scan times in the file are in UTC. Convert them in your spreadsheet if needed.
Exports only include QR codes that still exist in your workspace.
