All saved templates live on the QR Templates page. From there you can rename, edit, duplicate or delete them.

Before you start

  • Templates are shared across the workspace. A change you make is visible to every member.
  • What you can do depends on your role:
See Roles and permissions.

Rename a template

1

Open QR Templates

Click QR Templates in the sidebar.
2

Click the pencil icon

Click the pencil icon next to the template name (Rename template).
3

Enter the new name

Type the new name in Template name (up to 40 characters), then click Save.

Edit a template

1

Open the editor

Click the template’s thumbnail, or open its three-dot menu and click Edit template.
2

Change the design

Update the name or design on Custom designs, Branded designs or AI designs.
3

Save

Click Save template. You see “Template updated”.
Editing a template doesn’t change QR codes already created from it. Each code keeps its own copy of the design.

Duplicate a template

Open the template’s three-dot menu and click Duplicate. GetQR creates a copy named “<template name> copy”. Use it to try a variation without touching the original.

Delete a template

1

Open the template menu

Click the three-dot menu on the template card.
2

Delete

Click Delete.
3

Confirm

In Delete template?, click Delete.
Deleting a template can’t be undone. QR codes created from it are not affected: they keep their design and keep scanning.

Sort and find templates

  • Sort by: choose Date created or Last updated.
  • Search: type part of a template name in the search box to filter the list.
