Put your brand logo, or one of GetQR’s ready-made icons, in the center of your QR code. A logo makes the code recognizable and tells people what they’ll get before they scan.

Before you start

  • These settings are on the Custom designs tab.
  • Your logo file: an image up to 5 MB (for example JPG, PNG, SVG or HEIC).
  • Want the whole code to look like your logo instead? See Branded QR codes.

Tips for scannable logos

  • Start at the default size and go bigger only if you need to. A large logo hides more of the code.
  • GetQR keeps the logo within limits that the code can recover from, so the slider range is safe for scanning. Still, test the code before you print.
  • Use a logo with a transparent or plain background, so it blends into the code.
  • Prefer square-ish logos. Very wide logos are adjusted to fit.

Common issues

Logos can be up to 5 MB. Compress the image or export a smaller version.
Only image files work as logos. Export your logo as JPG, PNG or SVG.
Logos wider than 1.4:1 are adjusted to keep the code scannable. Check that it looks right, or upload a squarer version of your logo.
GetQR limits how much of the code the logo can cover, so the code stays scannable. The limit depends on how much content the code holds.
Lower Scale logo, check that the QR Color has strong contrast, and test again.
