# Feedback QR code

> Send people straight to your review page, survey or feedback form.

A Feedback QR code opens your review page, survey or feedback form with one scan. GetQR doesn't host the form: it sends people to the link you add, and counts every scan.

## Before you start

* Create the page where people leave feedback, for example a Google review link, a Google Forms or Typeform survey, or a review page on your own site.
* Copy its full link.

## Create it

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the QR code builder">
    Click **Create QR** in the sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Feedback">
    In **Choose QR type**, click **Feedback**. The builder moves to **Create content**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add your feedback link">
    Paste the link to your form or review page in **Enter your feedback link**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Name your QR code (optional)">
    Type a name in **Name your QR Code** to find the code later. Only you see it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Continue to the design">
    Click **Next**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Customize and create">
    Style your code in **Customize & Download**, then click **Create QR**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Settings

| Setting | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Enter your feedback link** | Required. The page people open when they scan. If you leave out `https://`, GetQR adds it. |
| **Name your QR Code** | Optional. Up to 40 characters. Only you see it. If you leave it empty, GetQR uses a default name. |

## What people see when they scan

There is no GetQR page in between. The phone opens your feedback link directly, so people see your survey, review page or form.

## Where to see the responses

Responses stay in the tool that hosts your form, not in GetQR:

* **Google reviews:** in your Google Business Profile.
* **Survey tools** (Google Forms, Typeform, SurveyMonkey and similar): in that tool's results view.
* **Your own form:** wherever your website stores submissions.

GetQR shows how many people scanned the code, and when and where they scanned it. Open **Statistics** in the sidebar, or see [Analytics overview](/analytics/overview).

<Tip>
  To compare locations, create one Feedback QR code per table, store or event that all point to the same form. Each code's scans are counted separately.
</Tip>

## Use cases

* Ask for a Google review on receipts, tables or the shop counter.
* Collect guest feedback in hotel rooms or at events.
* Run a customer satisfaction survey on packaging or delivery bags.
* Gather course or workshop evaluations on handouts.

## Common issues

  <Accordion title="Website URL is required">
    **Enter your feedback link** is empty. Paste the link to your form or review page.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="This link may be incorrect or lead to a broken page.">
    The link isn't a valid web address, or GetQR couldn't reach the page. Check for typos and spaces. Open the link in your browser to make sure it loads, and that the form is published and not private.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I can't find the feedback in GetQR">
    GetQR doesn't store form answers. Check the results in the tool that hosts your form. GetQR only shows scan statistics.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I want to switch to a different form">
    Edit the QR code and change **Enter your feedback link**. The printed code keeps working and opens the new form.
