# Manage your QR codes

> Find, edit, pause, duplicate and delete the QR codes in your workspace.

**My QR Codes** lists every QR code in your workspace. From here you can find a code, change its content or design, pause it, and download or delete it.

## Before you start

* Admins and Editors can do everything on this page.
* Viewers can find, download and print QR codes and view their statistics, but can't change them.
* Everyone in the workspace sees the same list of QR codes.

## Find a QR code

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open My QR Codes">
    Click **My QR Codes** in the sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Search">
    Type in the search box above the list. GetQR matches the QR code name and, once you type 3 or more characters, its content, such as a web address.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sort the list">
    Click the sort menu and choose **Last updated**, **Date created**, **Total scans**, **Last scanned** or **QR type**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

The list shows 10 QR codes per page. Use **Previous** and **Next** at the bottom to move between pages.

## Read a QR card

Each card shows the QR code with its name, content and a few badges.

| Column | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **QR Name** | The name only your team sees. Click the QR image to open a preview and download it. |
| **Your Content** | Where the code points, such as the link, file or phone number. |
| **Created** | When the code was created. |
| **Status** | **Active**, **Scheduled**, **Paused** or **Deactivated**. Click it to see details, such as the activation date or how many scans are left. |
| **Password** | **On** if people need a password to open the code. |
| **QR Health** | Whether the destination is working. GetQR checks the destinations of recently scanned or edited codes automatically and emails the account owner if one breaks. Paused codes aren't checked. |

The scan count next to each code opens its statistics. See [Analytics overview](/analytics/overview).

### Statuses

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Active** | The code accepts scans. |
| **Scheduled** | The code has an activation date that hasn't arrived yet, or it's live with an end date or scan limit set. |
| **Paused** | You paused it, its end date passed or it reached its scan limit. People who scan it see a page saying the code is paused by the owner. |
| **Deactivated** | The workspace subscription has ended. The code works again once the Admin renews. |

## Edit a QR code

All editing actions are in the menu on each card. Click the three-dot button on the card to open it.

| Action | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Rename QR** | Changes the name. Up to 40 characters. |
| **Edit** + type, such as **Edit Website** | Changes the content, such as the link or file. Click **Save Changes** to apply it. |
| **Customize QR** | Opens the design step of the builder to change the frame, colors or logo. |
| **Change QR Type** | Opens the builder at the first step so you can pick a different type. |
| **Set Access Rules** | Sets an activation date, a pause date or a scan limit. |
| **Enable password** / **Disable password** | Turns password protection on or off. |
| **Download QR** | Downloads the code in the format and size you choose. |
| **Print QR** | Opens your browser's print dialog. |
| **View Statistics** | Opens scan analytics for this code. Available once it has scans. |
| **Duplicate** | Creates a copy. |
| **Pause** / **Activate** | Stops or resumes scans. |
| **Delete** | Deletes the code. |

Changes to content, design and access rules apply right away. The next person who scans your printed code sees the new version; you don't need to reprint.

<Note>
  WiFi QR codes store the network details in the code itself. If you change a WiFi code's settings, download and print it again: copies you already printed keep the old details.
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the card menu">
    Click the three-dot button on the QR card.
  </Step>

  </Step>
</Steps>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the card menu">
    Click the three-dot button on the QR card.
  </Step>

    Click **Duplicate** in the **Duplicate QR Code** window. GetQR creates a new QR code with the same type, content and design.
  </Step>
</Steps>

The copy has its own short link, so it's a different code from the original when printed.

## Delete a QR code

<Warning>
  Deleting can't be undone. All printed and digital copies stop working, and the scan analytics are deleted. People who scan a deleted code see an error page. If you might need the code again, pause it instead.
</Warning>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the card menu">
    Click the three-dot button on the QR card.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Delete">
    Click **Delete**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Review the warnings in the **Delete QR Code** window, then click **Delete permanently**.
