## QR codes

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What is a dynamic QR code?">
    A dynamic QR code stores a short link instead of your content. When someone scans it, GetQR sends them to the content you set. Because the content lives in GetQR, you can change it, pause the code or see its scans after the code is printed. All GetQR QR code types work this way except WiFi.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I change a QR code after I print it?">
    Yes. Edit the content, design or type from **My QR Codes** and the printed code opens the new version on the next scan. You don't need to reprint.

    The exception is WiFi: a WiFi QR code stores the network name and password in the code itself, so you need to print it again after a change. See [Manage your QR codes](/getting-started/managing-qr-codes).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do my QR codes expire?">
    Not on their own. A QR code stops opening your content only if:

    * you pause it,
    * it reaches a pause date or scan limit you set,
    * you delete it, or
    * the workspace subscription ends.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is there a limit on how many times a QR code can be scanned?">
    Only if you set one. In the builder's **Schedule** tab, or with **Set Access Rules** on the QR card, choose **Pause after a scan limit** and enter **Maximum scans**. The code pauses automatically when it reaches the limit.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How many QR codes can I create?">
    Plans include unlimited QR codes. You can also create up to 100 at a time with [Bulk create](/bulk/overview).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What do people see when they scan a paused QR code?">
    A page that says **QR is paused by the owner.** and explains it's not a technical error. Scans aren't recorded while the code is paused. Click **Activate** on the QR card to resume it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I restore a deleted QR code?">
    No. Deleting can't be undone, and the scan analytics are deleted with the code. Anyone who scans a deleted code sees a page saying it was deleted by the owner. If you might need the code again, pause it instead of deleting it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I protect a QR code with a password?">
    Yes. Turn on **Enable password** from the card menu, or use the **Password** tab in the builder. Passwords must be 4–64 characters. People who scan the code enter the password before they see your content. Password protection isn't available for WiFi QR codes.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I choose when a QR code goes live?">
    Yes. In the **Schedule** tab, choose **Activate on a date** to keep it inactive until a date and time, or **Pause on a date** to stop it automatically.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I use my own domain in the QR code link?">
    Yes. You can choose a custom short link when you create a code, or connect your own custom domain. See [Create a short link](/short-links/create-short-link) and [Connect a custom domain](/custom-domains/connect-domain).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which file formats can I download?">
    JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF and EPS. JPG, PNG and EPS come in 1024, 2048 or 4096 px. See [Formats and resolution](/downloads/formats-and-resolution).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Analytics

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What can I see about scans?">
    How many scans each code gets over time, and breakdowns by country, city, device, browser and operating system. You can export the data or get regular reports by email. See [Analytics overview](/analytics/overview).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why doesn't my WiFi QR code show any scans?">
    A WiFi QR code connects phones to the network directly, without going through GetQR, so scans can't be counted.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Account and subscription

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Is GetQR free?">
    No. Most accounts start with a 7-day trial that continues as a paid subscription. For prices and plans, see the [Help Center](https://getqr.com/help).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens to my QR codes if my subscription ends?">
    They stop redirecting and people who scan them see a page saying the code is deactivated. Analytics stop collecting, and you can't create, edit or download codes. Nothing is deleted: renew and the same printed codes work again. See [Account and trial](/getting-started/account-and-trial).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does deleting my QR codes cancel my subscription?">
    No. Deleting QR codes, even your last one, doesn't stop payments. To cancel, see the [Help Center](https://getqr.com/help).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How many people can use my workspace?">
    A workspace has up to 5 seats. Pending invitations count toward the limit. See [Invite members](/members/invite-members).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Who pays for team members?">
    Only the workspace Admin has a subscription. Editors and Viewers use the Admin's plan, and only the Admin can change or cancel it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I change my login email?">
    Open your account settings and click **Change email**. GetQR sends a 6-digit code to the new address to confirm it. Your QR codes, subscription and analytics stay the same.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I contact support?">
    Email [help@getqr.com](mailto:help@getqr.com) or visit the [Help Center](https://getqr.com/help).
  </Accordion>
