# Create QR codes from a CSV

> Upload a CSV, pick one design and create up to 100 Website QR codes in one batch.

This guide walks through the **Create Bulk** wizard: add your links, customize the design, and create the batch.

## Before you start

* You need the **Admin** or **Editor** role.
* Prepare a CSV file with the header `name,url` and up to 100 rows. See [CSV format](/bulk/csv-format).
* No other batch can be running in your workspace.

## Step 1: Add links

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Create Bulk">
    Click **Create Bulk** in the sidebar. On a phone, tap the create button and choose **Create bulk QRs**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Get the template (optional)">
    Click **Download CSV template** for a sample file with the right header.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload your file">
    Drag your CSV onto the upload area, or click it to browse. GetQR shows "Reading CSV…" while it checks the rows.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the result">
    If every row is valid, you see **All links look good**. Otherwise, the rows that need fixing are listed with **MISSING** or **INVALID** badges.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fix or continue">
    Fix the CSV and click **Replace** to upload it again. Or click **Continue** to create only the valid codes.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Rows with errors are skipped, not created. The **Continue** button shows how many codes the batch will include.
</Note>

## Step 2: Customize

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose a design">
    Pick a tab: **Custom designs**, **Branded designs**, **AI designs** or **My templates**. The design applies to every code in the batch.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save the design as a template (optional)">
    Under the preview, select **Save as template** to reuse this design later.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Continue">
    Click **Continue**. If you uploaded a logo, wait for the upload to finish first.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  A template saved from bulk create takes the name of the first QR code in the batch. Rename it later on the **QR Templates** page.
</Tip>

## Step 3: Create

<Steps>
  <Step title="Review the batch">
    Check the summary: **Type** (Website / URL), **Source** (your file name) and **Codes** (how many will be created).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start">
    Click **Create N QR codes**, where N is the number of valid rows.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Watch the progress">
    GetQR creates the codes, renders the images and packages the ZIP. Each phase shows its progress.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download">
    When you see **Your QR codes are ready**, click **Download all (ZIP)**. See [Download the ZIP](/bulk/download-zip).
  </Step>
</Steps>

You can leave the page while the batch runs. Progress is saved, and **Create Bulk** shows it again when you come back.

## Batch statuses

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Queued** | The batch is getting ready to start. |
| **Creating QR codes** | Codes are being created and their images rendered. |
| **Packaging archive** | Images are being packed into the ZIP. |
| **Rolling back** | The batch was stopped or failed, and created codes are being removed. |
| **Completed** | All codes are created and the ZIP is ready. |
| **Failed** | The batch didn't finish. No codes from it were kept. |

## Stop a batch

While the batch is queued, creating or packaging, click **Stop creating**. GetQR removes every code it created for this batch and shows **Bulk creation cancelled**. Click **Start over** to begin again.

<Warning>
